Blue Betta Designs by Ryn

Hello!
I just love this pretty fish stamp from Designs by Ryn, and I know that in 'real life' they exist in several colours, red and blue are the ones I've seen most of.  Having made a card with a red Betta, I decided to make a blue version!  This is a small card, only 10 x 14 cm.
I used Peacock Feathers Distress ink in the background, stamped the fish in Stazon ink then coloured it with Inktense pencils.  I've used the lovely Fish Scales stamp in the background again too, fab texture effect with this stamp!  A little stickles to add some sparkle and some liquid pearls dotted around to look like bubbles.  The sentiment is from the Mackintosh Sentiments set from Chocolate Baroque.  I hope you like it and thank you very much for visiting! xxxxx

Lots of yummy colour! I'm loving making the little hexagon cards, I've got the circle dies too so I must get round (pun intended!!) to making some in that shape too. Hope you are all having a fab weekend, thank you for visiting! Xxxx

Funky flower

Hello blogsters!

I've been playing with a pretty flower stamp from Hero Arts and some distress inks. I stamped and embossed the flower and words in white, then rubbed distress inks over the top. A quick rub with a tissue to make the white pop, et voila!! Nice easy card for a girly birthday.

Thank you for visiting, and for all the lovely comments left for me recently, I really do appreciate them! Xxxx

Designs by Ryn - A fish tale!

Hello blog friends!

Here's my latest DT make for Designs by Ryn, using the Betta fish and the Fish Scales stamps. You can find both stamps on Ryn's website at www.designsbyryn.com

The background was made with Dylusions inks with the fish scales stamped over it. The 'seaweed' is the branch from the Tattered Pinecone die from Tim Holtz. I've used Inka metallic paint in various places, I love it!

I stamped the fish onto watercolour paper and coloured it with Tombow pens, before cutting it out and sticking it onto the background.

Thank you for visiting! Xxxx

A simple shell....

Good evening bloggie peeps!

I've got a CAS card to share this evening, I've used one of Sheena Douglass' stamp sets, I think it must be called 'Shells', but as it's buried somewhere in the heap that is my desk I can't be sure!!  I used Inktense pencils to colour the shell.

I hope you like, look forward to hearing your response to this card!  Thank you for visiting, big hugs! xxx
